Probolinggo, Metrozone.Net- Setelah dibuka untuk arus mudik, kini jalur mudik tol fungsional Probolinggo-Banyuwangi (Probowangi), kembali dibuka untuk arus balik secara satu arah dari Kraksaan menuju Gending.
Pembukaan Tol Probowangi segmen Kraksaan-Gending secara fungsional pada arus balik diterapkan pada 28 Desember 2024 – 5 Januari 2025 pukul 06.00-16.00 WIB tepatnya di hari ke Delapan Operasi Lilin Semeru 2024.
Kapolres Probolinggo AKBP Wisnu Wardana melalui Kasat Lantas AKP Anthonio Effan Sulaiman mengatakan, untuk periode arus balik, Jalan Tol Probolinggo-Banyuwangi akan beroperasi satu arah dari akses Gerbang Tol Kraksaan menuju Tol Gending.
AKP Effan mengatakan, pada saat periode mudik, pengguna jalan tujuan Banyuwangi dapat melintas di jalan Tol fungsional satu arah dari Gending hingga exit Tol Kraksaan.
“Untuk periode arus balik, pengguna jalan yang dapat melintas di Tol fungsional Kraksaan yakni pengguna jalan yang mengarah ke Surabaya,” kata AKP Effan, Sabtu (28/12/2024).
Lebih lanjut AKP Effan menambahkan, dipergunakannya Tol Fungsional Probowangi segmen Kraksaan bertujuan untuk membantu kelancaran lalu lintas, terutama dalam masa libur Natal dan Tahun Baru.
“Kami berharap Tol fungsional Kraksaan dapat mengantisipasi kepadatan kendaraan di Kebupaten Probolinggo sehingga pengguna jalan dapat tiba di lokasi tujuan tanpa harus terkena macet,” tutur AKP Effan.
Selain itu AKP Effan juga menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Probolinggo agar tidak melakukan konvoi saat malam pergantian tahun.
“Kami himbau kepada semua warga agar merayakan pergantian tahun bersama keluarga dan tidak melakukan konvoi kendaraan yang dapat mengganggu kamseltibcarlantas,” pungkas AKP Effan.
